What to Expect

We understand that going to a new church for the first time can be a little intimidating. To help you feel welcome, we have tried to identify and answer many of the questions that first-time visitors might have. If this doesn't answer all your questions, please give the office a call 925-828-1580 or send an email and we will be happy to answer further questions and/or get to know you!

  • We are located at 7557 Amador Valley Blvd. in Dublin, CA 94568. Click here for a map.

  • Worship is on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the sanctuary and usually lasts between 60-70 minutes, with special services (like Christmas and Easter) being a little longer. Our services are also recorded and available here. Holy Communion is celebrated at almost every service. Worship will include prayers, Bible readings, a children’s message, a sermon, and music that ranges from traditional hymns to praise songs. We also have mid-week services on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm during Advent (the season leading up to Christmas) and Lent (the season leading up to Easter Sunday).

  • We have an open table policy which means everyone is invited and welcomed to receive Holy Communion. An usher (worship assistant) will release rows in the pews to come to the communion rail during communion time. You are welcome to kneel or stand at the rail. If you are unable to come forward, let an usher know and communion will be brought to you in the pew. We serve both bread and juice or wine. Gluten-free wafers are available upon request. Those not wishing to receive communion may still come forward for a blessing.

  • It is helpful to arrive about 10 minutes before worship begins to give yourself time to settle in and center yourself before worship begins. If you are going to be late, you are still most certainly welcome! We are glad you are here.

  • Wear what makes you comfortable. There is a wide range of styles at Resurrection from casual attire to dressy. Please just wear something!

  • There is ample parking in the Resurrection parking lot. The entrance to the church is in the back. When the parking lot is full, there is additional parking next door at the office complex.

  • Infants, children, and youth are welcome at Resurrection! We have activity packets available for kids and offer a children’s message during the service. A cry room is available for use as needed during worship.

Resurrection believes that children are our greatest gift, and we strive to create an environment where they can experience the love of God through community, learning, play, and worship. We are dedicated to providing a safe, accepting environment where children feel loved and valued. We strive to partner with parents in their children's formation of faith.

  • Yes! Coffee and treats are provided in the narthex (entry area with tables/chairs) after worship every week.

  • On Sunday mornings, our Pastor would love to chat with you after worship; please introduce yourself. In the meantime, you may call the church office at 925-828-1580 or email us with any questions.
