What to Expect

We understand that going to a new church for the first time can be a little intimidating. To help you feel welcome, we have tried to identify and answer many of the questions that first-time visitors might have. If this doesn't answer all your questions, please give the office a call 925-828-1580 ext. 1 or send an email and we will be happy to answer further questions and/or get to know you!

  • We are located at 7557 Amador Valley Blvd. in Dublin, CA 94568. Click here for a map.

  • Worship is on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the sanctuary and usually lasts between 60-70 minutes, with special services (like Christmas and Easter) being a little longer. Our services are also recorded and available here. Holy Communion is celebrated at almost every service. Worship will include prayers, Bible readings, a children’s message, a sermon, and music that ranges from traditional hymns to praise songs. We also have mid-week services on Wednesday evenings during Lent (the season leading up to Easter Sunday).

  • We have an open table policy which means everyone is invited and welcome to receive Holy Communion. An usher (worship assistant) will release rows in the pews to come forward during communion time. Our procedure for these pandemic times is that you will receive a pre-packaged, individual wafter (gluten-free also available) and pick up a small cup of wine and/or grape juice. If you are unable to come forward, let an usher know and communion will be brought to you. Those not wishing to receive communion may still come forward for a blessing.

  • It is helpful to arrive about 10 minutes before worship begins to give yourself time to settle in and center yourself before worship begins. If you are going to be late, you are still most certainly welcome! We are glad you are here.

  • Wear what makes you comfortable. There is a wide range of style at Resurrection from casual attire to dressed up.

  • There is ample parking in the Resurrection parking lot. When the parking lot is full, there is additional parking next door at the office complex.

  • Infants, children, and youth are welcome at Resurrection! While Sunday School is on pause right now during the pandemic, we do have activity packets available for kids and offer a children’s message during the service.

Resurrection believes that children are our greatest gift, and we strive to create an environment where they can experience the love of God through community, learning, play and worship. We are dedicated to providing a safe, accepting environment where children feel loved and valued. We strive to partner with parents in their children's formation of faith.

  • Yes! Coffee and treats are provided in the narthex (entry area with tables/chairs) after worship.

  • On Sunday mornings, our Pastor would love to chat with you after worship; please introduce yourself. In the meantime, you may call the church office at 925-828-1580 x 1 or email with any questions.
