Be OWLsome!
Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class bridges the gap between preschool and kindergarten, offering a nurturing environment where young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Designed for children who are ready for a more structured learning experience but may not yet meet the age requirement for kindergarten, our TK program focuses on building strong foundations in early literacy, math, and social skills through hands-on activities, creative play, and guided exploration.
Our experienced and caring teachers tailor instruction to meet the developmental needs of each child, ensuring that every student feels confident, curious, and ready for the next step in their educational journey. We emphasize kindness, independence, and a love of learning, creating a joyful classroom where children thrive.
Welcome to our TK class!

Classroom Note
Hello Owl Families,
Wow, I can’t believe today is already the last day of the month—October really flew by! We had such a fun week learning all about pumpkins.
On Monday, we did a pumpkin science experiment where the children got to watch a pumpkin “explode” with bubbles.
On Tuesday, we had a pumpkin investigation! Each child chose a pumpkin, and we measured it, counted its lines, and predicted whether it would sink or float. They especially loved playing with the pumpkins in the water.
On Wednesday, we painted dinosaurs with pumpkins using watercolor, and we also had our class party. The children made pumpkin pizzas, which turned out delicious—they really enjoyed cooking!
Today, we wrapped up the week with another science experiment using a balloon and a water bottle. We mixed vinegar and baking soda and watched the reaction blow up the balloon—the kids were amazed!
Thank you so much for all your help with our class party!
Don’t forget—the Halloween Parade is today at 3:30 p.m. in the courtyard.
Have a safe and happy Halloween and a wonderful weekend! 🎃
Warmly,
Ms. Desirae
